I’ve been blogging about all things food related for a few years now, having started back when facebook posts were very limited in size & scope. When I first started, on the advice of a friend, I didn’t think I had much to say. Turns out I do, and I find now that I’m seriously addicted. Seriously. If you’ve been following along, and I see on social media that some of you are, I do appreciate and thank you very much for the support! At this point I’ll come out and ask…
“why don’t you take that a step further and start leaving comments, on posts that you read and especially on any recipe or idea that you might try…?”
Comments go a long way to showing readership & followers, and my hope is that this might lead to further adventures in food writing or other cool food/writing/work gigs! Not being the type of person to ask for something without giving something in return, each and every comment will enter you in a draw/contest/giveaway. FYI depending on where you live in the world – yes, in the whole wide world – some giveaways mean you have to be local, to where I am, in the Toronto, ON area. Others, where an e-gift certificate might be involved – of course have no geographic limit. My first giveaway was for an e-gift certificate from Whole Foods!
*Tip: easily get informed of posts by using the “subscribe by email form’ further down the page, on the right hand side.
I’ve just wrapped up my last draw, which had been extended – waiting for additional comments. The winner of this cool mini microplane…
CONGRATULATIONS Petal! Please private message me your address (I do believe/hope you’re in Canada somewhere…) so I can drop this in the mail. Again, with my thanks for your support!
A big thank you/grazie mille to all, and I look forward to reading your comments! ps stay tuned for details on the next contest/giveaway!
Warm Kitchen Regards,
