It’s been quite the journey since growing up in eastern Ontario as my mom’s kitchen helper & cashier at the farm stand! Since then it’s been culinary school, gigs in all areas of the food & beverage industry, with, yes… a lot of cooking; in Ontario, B.C. and even in Bermuda!

Starting my own business as a personal chef has been all at once rewarding, frustrating & exciting – I am indeed the cook, bottle washer, tech & social media departments. 

Italian is my preferred food and am always cooking it – for clients & in my own kitchen! Travelling to Italy helps fuel the passion, while all it provides much inspiration for my blog which was a logical progression….and now I’m hooked!

While I mostly write about recipes and what I’m cooking I’ll also cover any food related topic with meaning to me, such as:

  • trying out/reviewing food products
  • evaluating restaurants & eateries, especially where I live in Toronto, ON ( you’ll find these under Culinary Explorer)
  • all of the above on my travels to Italy (Culinary Explorer)
  • developing recipes
  • memories of mom’s kitchen – where the passion started
